What’s the difference between volleyball and basketball shoes?

Volleyball shoes are lighter with better lateral traction for indoor play. Basketball shoes are bulkier and tuned for forward motion and shock absorption.

How often should I replace them?

About every 6–12 months or roughly 100–150 hours of play. If traction fades or cushioning feels flat, it’s time to upgrade.

Can I wear volleyball shoes outside?

Not recommended—the softer indoor rubber wears down quickly on concrete or asphalt.
